Two guys walked into a bar… and on May 30^th, 2019, they bought it. With SouthHouse, brothers Emil and Anthony Notarfrancesco fulfilled a long-held dream of becoming business owners, following in the footsteps of their great-great-grandfather from Italy, who owned a small sausage shop in Brooklyn, NY. As lifelong Philly fans, they couldn’t pass up the opportunity of running a sports bar in South Philly.

Born and raised in Central Pennsylvania, Emil and Anthony fell in love with South Philly while attending college at Temple University. They hope to continue SouthHouse’s long-standing tradition of being a fun and welcoming neighborhood bar with great food and drinks. Keep an eye out for daily food specials and featured breweries.

Anthony is the boots on the ground, the friendly presence who practically lives at SouthHouse (we are not kidding!). On any given day, you can find him serving drinks at the bar, whipping up a meal in the kitchen, or serving guests in the dining area. 

Emil is the numbers guy. He lives on the West Coast with his wife and two daughters but will always rep Philly and drops in when he can to celebrate an Eagles win!
